Photo Compressor: Resize KB is provided by petaflo.
Photos and local processing
The app processes only photos that a user explicitly chooses through Android's system picker. Compression, resizing, orientation correction, output creation, and recent-result history run locally on the device. Original photos are not overwritten or deleted. Generated images and recent output metadata remain on the device unless the user intentionally shares them.
Analytics
The app uses Firebase Analytics to measure bounded product events such as session starts, selected-count ranges, target-size mode, output format, success or failure category, and savings ranges. File names, file paths, photo URIs, EXIF values, image pixels, and image contents are not sent to analytics.
Advertising
The app contains ads served by Google Mobile Ads. Google may collect or receive device information, advertising identifiers, app activity related to ad serving, diagnostics, and approximate location depending on user settings and regional requirements.
Banner ads are limited to idle screens. Interstitial ads may appear only after successful completed batches with a cooldown. A rewarded ad is optional when a user chooses to process more than five photos in one batch.
Consent and privacy choices
Google's User Messaging Platform may show privacy messages and choices where required. Privacy options are available from the shield button in the app toolbar.
Permissions and data access
- Internet and network state for ads, consent, and analytics.
- Advertising ID for Google Mobile Ads where available.
- User-selected photos through Android's system picker.
- No broad all-files storage permission is requested.
